Dr. Stefanie Thielemann

Dr. Stefanie Thielemann started her career in general practice and emergency services.  She has worked at several veterinary hospitals around the Tracy area, where she resides.

Dr. Thielemann spent a large part of her career at the San Francisco SPCA hospital, where she expanded her knowledge and skills through working with a large group of veterinarians.  She developed an affinity for surgery and was able to hone her skills as a surgery and procedure doctor.  

In 2018, Dr. Thielemann discovered the world of shelter medicine and surgery, where she further advanced her surgical skills working on the many needs of the animals that were cared for at the shelter.  It was where she also became proficient at high-quality, high-volume spay and neuter surgeries, employing specific skills to ensure a safe and efficient surgery.

Dr. Thielemann is excited to bring her experience, knowledge and skills to Paws and Claws Veterinary Hospital.
